Old River-Winfree, Texas is a town heaped in History and Tradition.  Founder’s Day will be held annually to commemorate and celebrate the founding of our community, to promote cooperation and volunteerism in the community, generate community spirit and recreation, and enhance the economic welfare of the town.

When the Vision of the Old River-Winfree Founders Day was brought to a vote, the City Council of Old River-Winfree said "Yes".   They provide the behind the scenes necessities of the "Founders Day" that doesn't get talked about or applauded, but must be provided nonetheless.  A Municipal Government that silently backs its citizens and tries to make this a better town in everything they do.
