Old River-Winfree is proud to be benefiting the Wounded Warrior Project for our 1^st Founder’s Day Celebration! The Run/Walk will be an annual event, so the City hopes you make this a part of your family outing every year.

The 3K Run/Walk is for everyone 12 years old and under. No bicycles, but mothers may bring wagons or strollers to pull their babies and toddlers. A T-Shirt will be issued to all participants and trophies awarded for different categories. The event starts at 7:00 a.m. sharp on July 25, 2009.

The entry fee for the 3K Run is $15.00 per participant. Sponsors are provided for those wishing to participate, but are not able to pay the entry fee. No child will be left out of this event if they want to participate!

T-Shirt Front

The 5K Run/Walk is for anyone wishing to walk or run in the event that is 13 years or older. The entry fee for this event is $25. A T-Shirt will also be issued to each registered participant.

Water Stations will be positioned along the route along with Hay Rides at three points to bring those who wish to discontinue the event back to the starting point. Of course, participants who choose to stop are disqualified. Ambulance service is provided by Emergency Transport Service in case of accident or sickness.
